Primate Pathology Workshop

This year, the Primate Pathology Workshop is hosted by both the New England Primate Research Center (NEPRC) and New England Regional Center of Excellence for Biodefense and Emerging Infectious Diseases (NERCE). The workshop will focus on infectious diseases in non-human primates. The early morning sessions will include several talks by scientists involved in infectious disease research using non-human primates as models. This will be followed by case presentations. Each case presentation will be approximately 12 minutes allowing roughly 3 minutes for questions following each presentation. Case presentations should deal with a specific infectious disease in a non-human primate species. Clinicians, research scientists, and pathologists are all encouraged to submit cases.

Registration and Case submission are now closed. For further information please contact Andrew Miller.

Primate Pathology Workshop registration and reception will take place on October 27th from 6:30-7:30pm in the Queenmary room on the second floor at the Hyatt Harborside Hotel. Light hors d'oeuvres and cash bar will be available. Workshop schedule can be downloaded here. (subject to change)
